  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You are scheduled for laparoscopic abdominal surgery (keyhole surgery in the belly)
  • You will receive sevoflurane (a type of inhaled anesthesia) – not other anesthesia types
  • You do not have a neurological condition or cognitive impairment (like dementia)
  • You do not have hearing problems and are not on antipsychotic medications
