Who can take part
- Your child is between 1 month and 2 years old
- Your child has been diagnosed with a large hole between the heart's lower chambers (VSD) confirmed by heart ultrasound
- Your child's heart hole is causing symptoms and affecting heart function
- Your child is smaller or lighter than expected for their age before surgery
- Your child is eligible for and will undergo successful heart closure surgery
- Your child does not have other complex heart conditions, genetic syndromes, kidney/liver disease, or severe malnutrition from causes unrelated to the heart problem
