Oral Gallium Maltolate for Recurring Brain Tumors

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and can provide informed consent
  • You have been diagnosed with glioblastoma (a grade IV brain tumor) confirmed by tissue sample or imaging
  • You completed standard brain tumor treatment (radiation and chemotherapy with temozolomide) and finished chemotherapy at least 4 weeks ago
  • Your tumor has grown back on imaging and a team of brain cancer specialists agrees you need another surgery
  • You are neurologically stable with no new or worsening brain-related symptoms for at least 14 days
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are adequate to safely receive the study drug
