Who can take part
- Your child must have a high-grade glioma (brain tumor) or an atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (ATRT) that has come back or not responded to standard treatment.
- They must have had standard treatments for their cancer, including surgery and radiation, and (for ATRT) specific chemotherapy.
- The tumor must be visible on MRI (or there must be positive spinal fluid or biopsy) so we can see if the drug works.
- Your child must be between 0 and 17 years old.
- Your child must have recovered from past treatments well enough to have healthy blood counts, liver and kidney function, and be able to take liquid medicine (by mouth or feeding tube).
- Girls who can become pregnant and boys who can father children must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for a while after.
