Brain Stimulation Patch for Jaw Pain: Home Treatment Study

This study tests whether a small, stick-on electrical patch placed on your ear can reduce temporomandibular disorder (TMD) jaw pain when used at home. Who can take part

  • Age 18–65 years old
  • Diagnosed with TMD (temporomandibular disorder, a jaw condition) based on clinical assessment
  • Jaw pain of at least 4 out of 10 in intensity for the past 2 weeks
  • Chronic jaw pain lasting 3 months or longer
  • Able to use a smartphone or computer with internet to check in with the study team
  • Willing to apply the ear patch at home yourself and follow study instructions
