Fast Recovery After Heart Valve Surgery

  • You are scheduled for elective (planned, non-emergency) heart valve surgery using a small incision or off-pump technique
  • You can provide informed consent and sign the consent form
  • You do not have a positive pregnancy test (if applicable)
  • You are healthy enough to wake up and breathe on your own in the operating room without complications
