  • Your child is in grade 2 or 3 at a participating school
  • Your child's school principal and teachers are willing to participate
  • Both you and your child agree to take part in the program
  • Your child has no serious heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease
  • Your child does not have an eating disorder or physical condition that limits activity
  • Your child's weight is not caused by a thyroid or hormone problem, or by medications
