Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with persistent atrial fibrillation that has lasted for at least 7 days but less than 365 days.
  • You have symptoms from your atrial fibrillation, like palpitations, shortness of breath, or fatigue.
  • You have had no prior surgery or catheter procedure to treat atrial fibrillation.
  • You are willing to attend all follow-up visits and tests.
  • You do not have any conditions that would make the procedure unsafe, such as severe heart failure or blood clots in the heart.
