Who can take part

  • Age 55 or older
  • Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 5 years
  • Able to speak and read English
  • Willing to wear three devices: a glucose monitor on your skin, an activity tracker on your thigh, and a Fitbit
  • No dementia or severe heart, lung, or joint problems that would make movement difficult
  • Have not used a continuous glucose monitor (CGM)—a sensor that tracks blood sugar—for a month or more in the past year
