  • You have type 2 diabetes with nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy).
  • You do not have a current foot ulcer.
  • You have not had a partial amputation.
  • You have not had a stroke.
  • You do not have painful nerve damage (painful neuropathy).
  • You can stand and walk on your own without help.
