EUS-Guided Chemoablation for Pancreatic Cysts
Treatments studied
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This trial tests a new procedure using an ultrasound camera passed through your mouth to inject medicine directly into pancreatic cysts. It may help shrink cysts in people who cannot have surgery.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a pancreatic cyst confirmed by specialized ultrasound testing (EUS) with fluid analysis or tissue biopsy
- Your cyst is at least 1 cm (about half an inch) in diameter on imaging
- You are not a good candidate for pancreatic surgery due to age, liver disease, obesity, heart/lung problems, or other serious conditions
- You have a life expectancy of at least 1 year
- You can give informed consent (or have a legal representative who can)

This study tests whether an endoscopy-based “radiofrequency ablation” (controlled heating) can manage certain pancreatic cysts that look high-risk. It’s designed for people who are not good candidates for surgery, aiming to shrink or control the cyst safely.
This trial tests a new minimally invasive technique that uses electric pulses delivered through an endoscope to destroy certain pancreatic tumors. It may be an option if you have a pancreatic cyst or small neuroendocrine tumor and cannot have surgery.
This trial tests a new method using an endoscope (a thin tube with a camera) to deliver a chemotherapy drug directly into a pancreatic cyst called IPMN. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and can prevent the cyst from growing or turning into cancer.
This trial tests a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure that uses heat to treat certain pancreatic cysts (fluid-filled sacs) and small neuroendocrine tumors (hormone-producing growths). It may be an option if surgery isn't possible or if you prefer to avoid it.
This trial tests a procedure that uses an endoscope and ultrasound to heat (radiofrequency ablate) pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. It may help shrink tumors while aiming to be a less invasive option.
This early-phase trial is testing a new endoscopic (from inside the stomach) approach for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma that is locally advanced and cannot be removed with surgery. It may help some people who have already tried first chemotherapy and still have a tumor confined to the pancreas area (no spread).
