  • Your child is under 18 years old
  • Your child needs chest or belly laparoscopic surgery and is healthy enough for it
  • Your child has not had previous surgery at the same site
  • Your child does not have active chest, belly, or pelvic infection, or severe bleeding disorders
  • Your child is not pregnant (if applicable) and has no severe heart disease or uncontrolled seizures
  • Your child is not enrolled in another surgery or device trial, or has waited the required time since their last trial
