Who can take part
- You must be at least 10 years old
- Your autoimmune hemolytic anemia must have failed at least 3 different treatment attempts (including steroids, rituximab, and other immune-suppressing drugs)
- Your bone marrow, liver, and kidney function must be adequate (your doctor will run blood tests to confirm)
- You cannot have active or recent serious infections, or a history of recurrent infections
- You cannot have a history of cancer in the past 5 years (with some exceptions like early skin cancer)
- You must be willing to use contraception for 6 months after treatment if you can have children
