- You were admitted to a hospital in Brazil with either a recent heart attack with a weakened heart, or heart failure diagnosis
- You did not have heart surgery in the last month
- Your heart failure is not caused by a blood infection (sepsis)
- Your heart is not in severe shock (cardiogenic shock) at the time of enrollment
