  • Age 18–70 years old
  • Diagnosed with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months
  • Current UC treatments haven't worked well enough, stopped working, or caused side effects you couldn't tolerate
  • No bowel surgery for UC in the past, and unlikely to need surgery during the study
  • No active infections in the intestines in the last 30 days
  • Willing to use effective contraception during the study and for 1 month after treatment ends
