Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months.
  • Your colitis is active but mild to moderate, affecting at least 10 cm of your colon.
  • You are currently taking or have tried a 5-ASA medication (like mesalamine) and it didn't work well enough or you couldn't tolerate it.
  • You have not used any advanced UC treatments (such as infliximab, vedolizumab, or tofacitinib) before.
  • You are willing to use effective contraception if you could become pregnant.
