  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis for at least 3 months
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and agree to use birth control during and 3 months after the study
  • You have not had major intestinal surgery or need it soon
  • You do not have active infections (like C. difficile or tuberculosis) or certain other serious health conditions
  • You have not had cancer (except certain skin cancers) in the last 5 years
