Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with subacromial impingement syndrome (shoulder pain with overhead activities, often confirmed by ultrasound or MRI)
  • You have reliable internet access and a smartphone, tablet, or computer to join video therapy sessions
  • You have not had shoulder surgery in the past 3 months
  • You are not currently receiving physical therapy or other shoulder treatments elsewhere
  • You do not have a rotator cuff tear (a deeper injury in the shoulder)

This trial tests if kinesiology taping (a special type of tape applied to the shoulder) plus exercises that strengthen the shoulder blades works better than just exercises alone for people with shoulder impingement syndrome (a common cause of shoulder pain).
