Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with subacromial impingement syndrome (shoulder pinching) with specific clinical signs confirmed by your doctor
  • An MRI shows inflammation in the bursa (fluid sac) under your shoulder blade
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have no shoulder surgery in the past year and no other shoulder diseases needing surgery
  • You are willing and able to do rehabilitation exercises regularly and return for follow-up visits
  • You have not had serious heart, brain, diabetes, arthritis, or bone disease that would interfere with recovery
