  • You have an arteriovenous malformation (abnormal blood vessels) located in the language area of the left side of your brain
  • You are right-handed
  • You are a native Mandarin Chinese speaker
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You have completed at least high school education
  • You have not had an AVM-related brain bleed in the past month
