Who can take part
- You have speech or language problems called aphasia from a stroke or dementia
- A clinician has diagnosed you with primary progressive aphasia (PPA)
- You are an English native speaker
- You can safely get an MRI (no MRI-unsafe implants or metal) and are not severely claustrophobic
- You have no major hearing or vision problems that would block testing
