Who can take part
- Cancer has spread to your spine (metastases) and is suitable for a focused radiation therapy called SBRT
- You have 5 or fewer tumors total in your body
- Your spine is relatively stable (SINS score below 7, meaning the tumor hasn't weakened your vertebrae too much)
- You are 18 years or older with a life expectancy of at least 12 months
- You are in good overall health (ECOG performance status 0–1, meaning you can do most daily activities)
- You have only one active tumor on the specific vertebra being treated (though other vertebrae can have tumors too)
