Who can take part
- Diagnosed with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer confirmed by biopsy or cell sample, and the cancer cannot be surgically removed
- Have not received any prior chemotherapy or immunotherapy for this cancer
- Age 18–75 years old and in good general health (able to perform light activities)
- Cancer spread to 3 or fewer sites; if cancer has spread to the brain, it must be treated and stable for at least 1 month without steroids
- Blood counts, kidney function, liver function, and heart function must be adequate based on lab tests
- No history of severe bleeding, blood clots, or recent major surgery (within 4 weeks)
