  • Child is in good overall health (no serious medical conditions)
  • Child has been identified as high cavity risk based on dental assessment
  • Child has not taken antibiotics in the past month
  • Child has not used antimicrobial mouthwash in the past 2 days
  • Child can cooperate during dental examination and treatment
