Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with hepatitis B-related cirrhosis (your liver is scarred from chronic hepatitis B)
  • Your liver function meets specific criteria (aMAP score greater than 60)
  • You have the TCM syndrome type called Shi-re-du-yun (a traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis pattern)
  • You have never been diagnosed with or treated for liver cancer or other cancers
  • Your cirrhosis is not severely advanced (no major fluid buildup in belly, confusion, or bleeding from stomach)
