Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with primary angle-closure disease (narrow angles in your eye) at any stage
- Your doctor believes you need cataract surgery combined with a procedure to widen the angle and separate scar tissue
- You can complete three special eye imaging tests before surgery (ultrasound, lens measurements, and OCT scans)
- Your eye has not had previous major surgery (except laser treatment to the iris is okay)
- You are not currently taking medications that affect pupil size or ciliary muscle function
- Your eye is not abnormally small (axial length must be 19mm or longer)
