Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have Parkinson's disease and have had deep brain stimulation (DBS) or a similar brain surgery
- Your Parkinson's symptoms are moderate to severe, and you still have at least 2 hours of 'off' time each day even with DBS on
- You are healthy enough for brain surgery and can have MRI or CT scans
- Your blood tests show your liver, kidneys, and blood counts are within acceptable limits
- You have been on a stable dose of your Parkinson's medicines for at least 4 weeks
