Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of primary aldosteronism, a condition where the adrenal glands make too much aldosterone, causing high blood pressure.
- You must be willing to temporarily stop taking certain blood pressure medicines called MRAs or potassium-sparing diuretics during the study.
- Your kidney function must be adequate (your doctor will check this).
- Your blood pressure medicines must have been stable for at least 4 weeks before the study starts.
- You must not have had adrenal surgery or certain other procedures, and you must not have other secondary causes of high blood pressure.
