CAR-NK Cell Therapy for Advanced Gastric Cancer

Advanced Gastric AdenocarcinomaAdvanced Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.

This trial tests a new type of cell therapy (CAR-NK cells) designed to attack gastric and esophageal junction cancers that have specific markers on their surface. The cells are engineered to recognize two targets on your cancer cells, which may help your immune system fight the cancer more effectively.

  • Your cancer must be confirmed as unresectable (cannot be surgically removed) or metastatic (spread to other parts of your body)
  • Your tumor must test positive for CLDN18.2 protein (a marker on at least 10% of your cancer cells) and HER2 status must be determined
  • Your cancer must have progressed despite at least 2 prior chemotherapy treatments
  • You must have at least one measurable tumor on imaging scans
  • Your overall health and organ function must be adequate, and you must have a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks
