- You are at least 18 years old
- You have atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) and are having your first catheter ablation procedure using pulsed field ablation
- You do not have diabetes and are not taking any diabetes medications
- You do not have severe kidney disease (kidney function above a certain threshold)
- You have not had any previous ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation
- You are not pregnant and can commit to follow-up visits
