Who can take part
- You are having revision (redo) knee replacement surgery for reasons like worn-out parts, loosening, instability, or misalignment—not for stiffness
- You do not have an active or hidden infection in the knee
- You have not had blood clots (DVT or PE) in the past
- You are not currently taking blood-thinning medications before surgery
- Your BMI (body mass index) is below 40
- You are not taking high-dose opioid pain medications (less than 150 morphine-equivalent units per day for the past 3 months)
