Who can take part

  • You had a stroke caused by a blood clot or bleed in a specific brain region (basal ganglia) within the last 1–6 months
  • Your arm weakness is moderate (not too mild, not too severe) and you can still follow instructions
  • You are between 30 and 80 years old with no previous strokes
  • You can see and hear well enough to participate, and your thinking is clear enough to understand the study
  • You have no severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney disease, and no implanted devices like pacemakers or cochlear implants
  • You can commit to at least 12 months of follow-up visits and therapy sessions
