  • You have newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML, excluding a specific subtype called M3) confirmed by recent blood/bone marrow tests
  • Your doctor believes you are healthy enough to tolerate standard chemotherapy drugs like daunorubicin or idarubicin
  • Your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or have untreated HIV
  • You do not have severe liver disease, uncontrolled bleeding disorders, or other serious uncontrolled medical conditions
  • You have not been in another clinical trial in the past month and are able to follow the study plan
