Who can take part
- You have been newly diagnosed with stage IIIA or IIIB non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that doctors say cannot be surgically removed.
- You have never received any cancer treatment before, including chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery for this cancer.
- Your lung function test (FEV1) shows you have good enough lung capacity to tolerate the treatments.
- You are age 18–80 with good overall health and an expected life expectancy of at least 3 months.
- You are willing to provide a tissue sample from your tumor for genetic testing before the study starts.
- If you can become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during treatment and for 3 months after it ends.
