Who can take part
- Histologically confirmed invasive breast cancer that is HER2-positive (confirmed by lab testing)
- Stage I, II, or III breast cancer (no spread to distant organs)
- Willing to receive 4–6 cycles of chemotherapy with HER2-targeting drugs before surgery
- Age 20 or older with good overall health (ECOG performance status 0–1)
- Heart function (LVEF) at least 50% before treatment, with no more than 10% decline after initial chemotherapy
- Normal or near-normal blood counts, kidney function, and liver function; no active hepatitis B or C infection
