Who can take part

  • You have healthy gums and teeth with no signs of gum disease or inflammation
  • You have your natural upper front teeth (incisors) that can be examined
  • You do not have crowns, fillings, or restorations on your upper front teeth
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You do not have gum recession (where gums have pulled away from teeth)
  • You are not taking medications that cause gums to swell
