Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have receding gums (gums pulling away from teeth) in your upper or lower jaw.
  • You are generally healthy (any health conditions like diabetes are well-controlled, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding).
  • You have good oral hygiene, with less than 20% plaque and bleeding on a standard dental check.
  • Your teeth have a clear line where the tooth meets the gum, and no fillings or wear that hide this line.
  • Your teeth are not crooked or rotated, so a clear photo can be taken.
