Who can take part
- Your child is between 2 and 6 years old
- Your child is scheduled for planned (elective) surgery under general anesthesia using sevoflurane gas
- Your child is in generally good health (ASA status I or II—no serious medical conditions)
- You can provide written permission for your child to participate
- Your child has never had emergence delirium or serious behavioral issues after anesthesia
- Your child is not currently taking sedative or psychiatric medications
