Research on stroke care decisions and patient experiences

StrokeStroke (CVA) or Transient Ischemic Attack

Part of Brain & nervous system, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study invites people who have recently had a stroke or TIA (mini-stroke) to share their experiences and help improve how stroke care decisions are made. Your input will help doctors and hospitals provide better, more equitable care for all stroke patients.

NCT07635498Recruiting
Virtual versus in-person care after stroke

This study compares two ways of caring for stroke patients who aren't candidates for emergency clot-removal surgery. Half will receive care through a virtual stroke unit (telemedicine), and half will receive traditional in-person care at the hospital. The goal is to see if both approaches work equally well for recovery and safety.

NCT05389878Recruiting
Stroke patient registry for people within 6 months of stroke

This trial sets up a registry (a secure database) to better track and understand adults who have had an ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke within the last 6 months. Being listed may help researchers learn what care works best for different types and stages of stroke.
