Portable MRI for brain injury in children

Who can take part

  • Your child must be 0 to 17 years old.
  • Your child must be staying in an intensive care unit (PICU, CICU, or NICU) at the hospital.
  • Your child must have a sudden brain injury from lack of oxygen or blood flow, or be at high risk for one.
  • Your child must not be pregnant.
  • Your child must be able to have an MRI safely (no metal implants that are not allowed).
