  • You have colorectal cancer scheduled for laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery to remove the tumor
  • Your overall health is stable enough for surgery (ASA class I–III, your surgeon can confirm this)
  • You can give informed consent and follow study instructions
  • You don't have a known allergy to local anesthetic medications
  • You don't have bleeding disorders or current infections
  • You are able to complete all study activities as requested
