How Foot Pressure Patterns Help Detect Scoliosis

  • You are between 10 and 18 years old
  • You can stand and walk comfortably without significant pain
  • You don't have recent foot injuries, wounds, or infections
  • You have either been diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS) by a doctor, or you have a healthy spine with no scoliosis history
  • Your parent or guardian can give permission, and you can follow instructions during the study
  • You don't have uncontrolled medical conditions like heart or blood-sugar disorders that would make standing difficult
