Who can take part
- Diagnosed with chronic heart failure at least 6 months ago, currently in NYHA Class II–IV (meaning you have symptoms even at rest or with minimal activity)
- Heart's ejection fraction (the percentage of blood your heart pumps with each beat) is 35% or lower, confirmed by recent heart ultrasound
- Heart rhythm is normal (sinus) or irregular (atrial fibrillation), with resting heart rate between 55–90 beats per minute
- High level of a heart-stress protein (NT-proBNP) in your blood, confirming significant heart strain
- Have an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) device implanted for safety, with backup pacing capability
- Already taking optimal heart failure medications that are stable and working as well as possible for your condition
