Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with heart failure for at least 8 weeks, with mild to moderate symptoms (like getting tired or short of breath during daily activities).
- Your heart's pumping function (ejection fraction) is 40% or less, meaning your heart doesn't pump blood as well as it should.
- A blood test shows a high level of a heart stress marker (NT-proBNP) — at least 600, or at least 900 if you have atrial fibrillation.
- You are on stable, guideline-recommended heart failure medications.
- You have not been hospitalized or needed extra IV or injection diuretics for heart failure in the last 4 weeks.
