Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- Your heart's pumping strength (ejection fraction) is at least 50%
- You have a wide QRS pattern on your EKG (specific measurements: ≥150 ms, or ≥130 ms with other changes)
- You need a pacemaker and are expected to use your heart's natural rhythm most of the time (less than 10% artificial pacing after one month)
- You don't have permanent or long-lasting irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation)
- You haven't had heart surgery, stent placement, or major heart procedures in the past 3 months
