  • Diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes for at least 5 years
  • Currently taking insulin shots or pumps for at least 1 year
  • Age 18–80 years old
  • Specific test scores (Gold ≥4, Clarke ≥4) confirming reduced awareness of low blood sugar
  • Never had mindfulness training before
  • No serious mental health conditions, cognitive problems, or psychiatric medications
