Who can take part

  • Your child is between 6 and 16 years old.
  • Your child has type 1 diabetes and has low blood sugar (below 70 mg/dL) without feeling symptoms (this is called hypoglycemia unawareness).
  • Your child has been using insulin for at least 6 months.
  • You (parent or caregiver) and your child agree to take part, and we get your permission in writing.
