Who can take part

  • Your child is between 7 and 12 years old
  • Your child has molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) affecting both sides of the back teeth, confirmed by a dentist
  • Your child's MIH teeth need fillings or other treatments to restore them
  • Your child can cooperate during dental exams and can answer questions about their chewing
  • Your child has mixed dentition (some baby teeth and some permanent teeth still coming in)
  • You and your child are willing to sign a consent form for the study
