Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You need a non-molar tooth (not a back molar tooth) extracted
  • Your tooth socket is intact and healthy at the time of extraction
  • You either wear a removable temporary denture that can be taken out, or you have no prosthesis after extraction
  • You are not a current smoker
  • You do not have uncontrolled diabetes or other conditions that slow wound healing
