Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 25 years old
  • You have at least 2 years of structured rugby training experience
  • You currently train at least 3 hours per week
  • You have medical clearance to do high-intensity exercise (no heart disease or serious cardiovascular risk factors)
  • You have not had moderate or severe muscle, bone, or joint injuries or surgery in the past 6–12 months
  • You are willing to do only the study training—no other strength or plyometric programs during the trial
